Just for continuity & comparison

Sunday. 9:45 bur to Mahon in search of cash machine – successful, and socks – unsuccseeful. Strange attitude from two shop assistants who directed me next door, where there were no socks or assistants, when there were ample examples of the said garments in their shop.
Confused? So wiz I.

Bus back to Alcaufar (village) and Xuroy (Hotel) Collected and paid for room safe key (as well that my nose is clear) then repaired to our balcony overlooking the pool area. Read a bit then both fell asleep so retired to bed at 3pm. Woken shortly thereafter by donner und blitzen mir torrents.


Now almost ready to risk the dining room and ascertain if there is a different selection of scran. Last night was steak, mixed veg,  Cod, patatas fritas, or a variety of salads and cold pasta dishes. Steak was ok but only just, and much to Sue's dismay, the cod was largely bome & gristle. Never experienced gristle in fish before, but forewarned is fore armed. Don't chose the crescent shaped bits as they include spine etc.
