Lara's turn for a playdate

Today we were off to the movies with a little friends of Lara's, as she has now been asking to have a play date like her big sisters, so this one was her very first with her friend that the others didn't share. Boy did she love it, I saw her totally grown up, Us mums were kicked to the row in front while the kids sat behind us all excited and happy to be sitting with each other. I was quite lucky as I know this family actually through Maddie being in the same class as the little girls brother, so Miss M was happy to chat with him, and I think it prob developed their friendship a bit stronger to.

Lara proudly sat with her little friend and giggled and wispered (well lara style which is actually quite loud) throughout the movie Her friend and her are actually very similar and I think they both met them match and equal in each other. They were egging each other on and being really cheeky and cute. Holding hands to get lunch.

The movie finished and Maddie wanted to have another go at singing and recording a song, and Lara also piped up I am going first I want to sing twinkle twinkle. I thought yeah right you will get up and do nothing but I put her name down anyway.
They called out her name and off she ran, Bailee and her friend followed her up on to the stage. Lara had pole position right in front of the microphone. The music started and off she went singing loud and exciteley. All you could hear was Lara. I was very proud she actually did amazing good. I think I will lead with her leeds more often. As it really surprised me that she 1. New the whole song and 2. sang it in front of a very large group.

Miss Maddies turn, she sang fireworks, and was awesome. knew the words word for word, and everyone crowded around and were filming her. Maddie loved it and grew with confidence adding in little dance moves.It was and is amazing to see as at school miss Maddie is as quite as a mouse and really a shy girl. Well you would never of guessed it the inner diva took over and she was glowing with confidence. The other little boy from her class, is at school a real confident kid and quite a out spoke little boy, he was in tears about having to get up, his little heart pounding very fast. He made it clear he didn't want a turn. Just goes to show kids are confident is very different ways.
