We're Ready....

...for some football!! First game of the season and the Packers came out on top, beating the Seahawks 17-9! That's the good news.
The bad news is that Tom had day #6 of chemo injections early this afternoon, & when he stood up to leave, said he wasn't feeling well so I made him sit back down--just in time, as he went out! Totally unresponsive. They called their first response team, but he started waking up after about a minute (probably one of the longest minutes of my life)! The nurses ended up taking him to the Emergency Room for more of a work-up, & from there he was admitted for the night. They're thinking he was dehydrated, but are doing a cardiac work-up just to be safe. He'll probably come home tomorrow--fingers crossed! Now it's 1930 and the dietary dept. brought both of us dinner, so I'll head home after we eat. Had no blip, so can't go wrong with our Packer quarterback, Aaron Rodgers!
