Leaves on da Turn
A dry morning but overcast. After lunch, rain came in and poured most of the afternoon. It's dried up later this evening.
It's been a stressful morning, with Thomas Cook cancelling my holiday to Cuba, due to Hurricane Irma. Off to Fuerteventura instead and had to change planes, dates and more. It's been a steady day working on the museum desk again today. Shame they have decided to close the cafe on Sundays, as we had 50 odd folk mad about it. I've been puttering about the house tonight, sorting things up in the loft, and hanging various photos and pictures on the walls. Feet up now.
With summer over and da hairst set in, it's now the downward spiral for the flowers and plants. Although this leaves are lovely and green in the foreground, the horsechestnut tree is on the turn. A lovely golden yellow and red looks great, but won't last long when the winds arrive. Taken on Hillside Road, Scalloway.
