Follow da Vikings????

It's been a fine day, mostly sunny, dry and warm.  It clouded over after tea but still fine.

I've had a busy day on the museum desk.  There was a few extra set ups to sort this morning, and then the rush started once the doors opened.  Follow the Vikings has been on today, and packed with various talks, gallery tours and bairns crafts, workshops and fun trails.  Met mam and Elise at lunchtime, and we worked on some photo projects.  It's been a fairly quiet night at home, but I did pop along friends this evening.  

Plenty of folk through the door for the Follow the Vikings event in the museum today, and various staff dressed up too.  There was also a visit from the Lerwick Up Helly Aa Jarl Squad, which our archivist Brian is not a fan!  With him not being a fan, it was great to get the Vikings to stand next to him.  L-R - Martin Henderson, Ross Sinclair, Steven Anderson and grumpy Brian Smith.  Taken at the Shetland Museum, Lerwick.
