The eye

At times today in La Rochelle the weather was glorious but there were plenty of heavy showers too, which made everywhere pleasingly reflective. Along with hundreds of like-minded folk, we decided to shelter from the wet weather in the aquarium, which had plenty of fish, a few turtles, some tame jellyfish and delicate coral.

I am still struggling with French opening hours.  We walked to the Musee des Beaux Arts but that doesn't open until 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.  Obviously.
