Maybe ! A day spent servicing the combine in the hope of dry weather soon ! Oil and filter change then diesel filters. Didn't go quiet to plan as the bleed screw on top of the filter housing stripped the threads so had to take said filter housing off and re thread and find a long bolt to make do. Got there eventually.
Wee brother and the 2 herds all away to Kelso to the tup sales. He came back with a variety of purchases- a Blueface Leicester , a Charolais , a Berrichon and a Beltex.
Checked straw tonight but still wet- this harvest is driving me nuts.
Sat and watched This Farming Life on tv tonight. It looks easy on film- they got their barley cut just as the rain started ! If only .
