Blipwalk: Coogee to Maroubra
Hobbs had me up at silly o'clock this morning to catch the 6:44am train to Sydney.
Smokey joined us at Wentworth Falls and we met up with Beckett and trisharooni at Coogee.
It was a lovely day, about 20C and not much wind as we walked along the coastline.
It did develop into a bit of a case of "Survivor".
We traversed a rocky outcrop with a little difficulty (see extras) with one eye on the incoming tide.
That didn't do Beckett's leg any good so he decided it would be prudent to head home after lunch.
Next Trish had a nasty fall when a rock moved under her foot hurting her leg and spraining her ankle.
That seemed a good time to call it a day so we helped her hobble back to the buses and we all headed home.
Apart from the two mishaps it was a good day and next time we will be keen to pick up where we left off.
The next section is across an artillery range. Maybe today wasn't the best one to attempt it!
