Opening night.

As I mentioned the other day there is big excitement in the central city with the opening of a new retail area this week., rebuilt after the earthquakes.

Ella and I went to the opening of one of the smaller shops tonight. A gift shop that has relocated from a quieter part of the city. I have shopped there for years and got to know the girl who runs it. She stocks beautiful items. Her new space is in such a great location with so much foot traffic and inner city shoppers , she will do well.
