Making A List And Checking It Twice

So we spent some time today making our preliminary list of what we absolutely need to take along if evacuation is required.

It is STILL too soon to know exactly where hurricane Irma will impact our area. We are definitely going to get hit by a historically huge storm, but we don't know how badly we will be hit.

We are supposed to get the initial effects starting Sunday, then into Monday.

The waiting on the unknown anxiety  remains killer for us, but we are trying our best to prepare.

In reviewing the list of necessary items to bring upon evacuation, I noticed Ripley's name is on the list!

Congratulations to Ripley! You made the list kitty! Woo Hoo!

(Oh, and Sammy is on there too.)

Of course they don't yet know all our lives are about to change. Maybe they are better off for it, at least they have no trouble sleeping, unlike me. 

I've already read several reports comparing the waiting and the unknown time and amount of impending doom to PTSD.

Not far from the truth I'm thinking.
