Much to Cro about

Croatia holds much appeal, even on an unseasonably grey and damp day with some tension in the air following the disagreement with our host over veiled women in France.

The old town is perched high above the modern expanse and is eerily quiet. This church is next to the parliament offices, which are comically low key and low security. A quirky artpark as we descended to the main city contained a straw sculpture of a llama and a board stating 'it's better to be full of beer than full of shit'.

The whirlwind holiday tour of Europe 2017 ends today. It was home via Stuttgart ready to put my nose to the grindstone once more. It has felt like a marvellous break.
