In the Nick of Time

Thank you s much for the response to yesterday's photo. Unfortunately I don't have wi fi to respond individually.

A rather dismal start to the day as we pulled up in the car park for St Michael's Mount. The causeway was open until 13:30 and so we set off to explore the island. A steep climb up to the castle was challenging owing to the wet conditions. Fortunately the weather improved throughout the day.

Well after the time beyond which it should have been a boat trip rather than a walk over the causeway people were wading through the ever deepening water. These were some of those who were dashing across to beat the tide.

Having watched the fun and games ( without anyone being washed out to sea) we travelled the short distance to Trengwainton Gardens.
