A visitor!  This heron has stopped on the dock briefly for three days in a row and by the time I'd get my camera out, he would have flown away, except for today!  
We have had some very bad news today and I cannot write about it here as it is too much.  I'm not trying to be mysterious, just respectful of privacy.
