The last day...

...if the summer holidays. Despite only being back one week to work after my annual leave...I took another day's annual leave to spend it with the Barmy Army.

Wee fella had put a couple of late entries on to the summer bucket list one of which was bowling so Mr R, the boys and I headed there this afternoon. Es was doing her own thing.

We don't bowl very often and when we go I always feel like we should go more often as it's good fun. Wee fella even more pleased with his late bucket list entry in that he was second behind Mr R...bet his big brothers and me. It has to be said with his own inimitable style. There were bowls that I thought were going to stop mid-lane:-)

Stopped off for an ice-cream on the way home and to collect the last of the school orders from Next!

Grateful for the rest and fun of the summer holidays and one last day of summer fun.
