Driving home

The rain continued to chuck it down when we left Keswick to drive back down the M6.
At one point just past Sizergh, the road was flooded both sides. The highways chaps where trying to clear a blocked drain on the southbound. The traffic on the northbound was tailbacked quite a few miles as there was only the inside lane passable with care...
