Saturday Stroll

At a bit of a loose end, I decided to take a "quick" walk up to the Cobham Ridge Ranges at the end of my road with the long lens, in the hope of seeing some of the deer.   There were no deer to be seen, but I kept on walking, and eventually came across this long track along the side of the barbed wire fence keeping man and beast out of the live firing ranges (and the deer in!)

I heard this rumbling behind me, and a pair of cyclers sped by - I managed to catch them on their way up to the next ridge, and at a much slower pace I followed. Unfortunately the view at the top wasn't really worth the effort, so I did an about turn and headed home: my quick stroll had turned into 2hours!
