Beauty is all around us.

Fun in the Ribble Valley.

We went to Blackburn to buy Maria her birthday present.
She decided on a new pair of Converse trainers, as she walks to and from her work place in York each day, clocking up at least 6,000 steps.
We visited Bashall Barn, and www.meltco.com where they make candles with natural ingredients.
Llamas in a nearby field are part of a company that sell exotic fertilizers, I think from Llama poo!
Then for a blue skied country drive into Ribble Valley, to The Higher Buck, in Waddington for a nice lunch in the garden. I had a poached pear and green salad with picked walnuts, grated carrots and spring onions .We shared some triple cooked chips.
It was very sunny and we were next to a group of fun loving locals dressed in fancy dress outfits, including a yellow and black bee costume, a ballerina, a knight, and a few other creative and comical dresses.
