Oswaldtwistle Mills and Wildlife gardens.

A good start to September, with sunny weather and a train service that was
running, inspite of an incident further down the line. I helped a young girl to step up onto the train as the gap was massive today.
 We were impressed by the pleasant service from a young lady who was on her first day as a train ticket guard.
Maria and me went to Oswaldtwistle Mills and clocked up 6.000 steps on the Fitbit. We wandered around the clothing outlets, fed the wild birds, and treated ourselves to tea and cake in the little tea room.
I had a gorgeous slice of Lemon Drizzle cake with fresh cranberries and a pot of Spiced Chai.
Maria had a toasted camembert sandwich.
