Back in the Parliament

Back in the Scottish Parliament today for the first time for ages. During the summer I have either been in the constituency or using my office in St Andrews House but today, amongst a range of meetings, I had to spend time with the Parliament's Culture & Europe Committee who were holding their annual business planning event..

As ever after an absence I was struck by the extraordinary nature of the architecture of the place and the striking views to be had at every turn.

This is from the window of one of the meeting rooms in Queensbury House. It was slightly open and I managed to sneak my phone onto the outside sill to take the quick shot.

It worked.
