Loch Glow

Bruce and I had a very enjoyable few hours at Loch Glow today. Situated high in the Cleish Hills it is a bit prone to wild and windy weather and such was the case first thing today. Thankfully as the day went on, the sun came out, the wind dropped and things became altogether more pleasant. The fishing was good as well and we caught five rainbow trout weighing over 10lbs. which will go towards feeding a couple of families over the next few days. At only £10 for your permit, it works out far cheaper than buying them from the shops!
