THE LARCH!*
I think it's a Aphidecta obliterata or larch ladybird, which is odd as I found him while harvesting my autumn raspberries, but there are some conifer trees nearby, so maybe he was just having a wee wander and a taste of the berries - and who wouldn't, they are delicious. Oh, and I brought him indoors to photograph, that is a large dinner plate he is running around on, not an oversize rasp. Don't worry, I put him back safely.
Early blip tonight as I am chasing my tail to get to be organised for the next few days...
