A child free morning; the only one this week. So a peaceful potter through tea and reading e mails and then out on the bike. Due to the workload it was a high mileage / low number of calls kinda morning. Moredun to Craigmillar (Lidl photos!) and then a long drag out to Wester Hailes; a cuppa with Mrs P and her reminiscing about the recently departed colleague and the waste of time Stenhouse visit. 

And to the office; I had arranged to meet her for half an hour at the Fruitmarket but she took a call and forgot about me. (!!) 

So I spent the afternoon riding shotgun with Tracy and doing on the job training before fleeing at 4 to fetch the boys and some Spanish bean stew / Vuelta / homework / domesticity.

Gotta love a bit of Wester Hailes. I see there's a new Martin Parr book about Remote Scottish Postboxes in the pipeline. I wonder if it includes the extra...? One shot is looking east, one shot is looking west from exactly the same spot.
