Using the Tenders

Backblip

It was a sea day today so I thought I'd blip a postcard of the tenders in use at Stornoway yesterday. We were anchored offshore at two ports on this cruise and used the tenders to get ashore. They are lowered from their storage on Deck 10 and I think we used three at Stornoway to constantly ferry passengers to and from the shore. It was a little choppy on the first day, but nice and calm on the second day the tenders were used. Whilst I don't get seasick on the ship, I can feel sick whilst waiting in the tender by the ship or if we cross another boat's wake and bob around a bit. The whole process fascinates me and the guys involved are very skilled.
