Killing the rind.

The kookaburras and magpies seem to have reached a truce, and are finally sharing the bacon rind that I leave out for them!

I keep telling them to share and they seem to have finally caught on to the idea, although both birds insist on killing the bacon rind, by whacking it against the nearest hard surface!! I guess it's all part of the fun of the meal for them.

Tonight I must blip and run after a very busy day, which included making the Christmas cakes that I mentioned yesterday.
