Lullingstone view...

The good work begun yesterday continued today. Firstly a trip to the local recycling centre with bags of garden rubbish, then as dusk fell this evening, bonfire #2. The pile is gradually diminishing. The incinerator purchased yesterday makes the whole bonfire business much safer as everything is much more contained.

In between, we went for a drive to Lullingstone Country Park but today we took the hill walk and the views were amazing across the countryside. At one point the walk crosses the golf course with suitable warnings...

Such a beautiful Bank Holiday Monday! This late wonderful weather spell has been a real gift! I DID sit in the garden wrapped in a blanket to watch the bonfire though..it got quite cool when the sun had finally set.
