Set off
Great journey until about ten miles away so after crawling for a while we detoured off and headed to pendine sands

Great fun driving onto the beach, lee headed off to the cafe and got lunch. Yummy. Spent a very lovely couple of hours on the beach and then checked in

Next door to us are auntie Katie and uncle john which works really well. We've had a swim, played in the park, drunk gin, had a bit of a disaster with Tesco order. Lots missing, presumed delivered to some other person! Shop was closed so they had to reimburse us and back up plan for tea hastily made for us. Luckily children's tea all arrived.
