Village Fun Day

Another beautiful sunny day.  We walked up to the allotment this morning but were only able to spend an hour there before we were feeling hot and in need to shelter and drink!  We returned home armed with enough French beans and courgettes to feed the street!

This afternoon, after some chores we popped along to the village family fun day - pictured.  On the left you can see the childrens' tug of war, smash a crock, and various other games stalls, in the middle bowls and to the right the teas and cakes - where I admit to lingering for a while!
