For sure

Today we went back to the water park. There were some slides I wanted to experience and it’s a nice clean place, we all enjoyed it the other day and all happy to come back.

Teenage son and I started off with a little swim in the hydrotherapy pool then ventured to the slides. Scared of the heights, the speed and the entry into the water he looked after me and said I’d be ok. Well I was although I can’t say I really enjoyed them they were ok. Its the walk up that’s worst I don’t like heights. Off we set, the racey slides where everything moves and drops out if ur not lucky, its a case of pack it all back in before you emerge from the water, smiling like its the best ever whilst hoping everything is back where it should be before everyone sees.

Next we did the red one, yellow one, the lazy river (which i fell out with later because I thought there was a dead bird in it! Might have been having a drink but it looked dead!).

The highlight for teenagers was the racey slide I went in the middle so I didn’t fall over the edge! I sat up with my mat to start with and the lifeguard helped me set off! Well, I didn’t like sitting up to see where I was going and soon lay down flat. Did I fly past the two teenagers with not very Sunday school language, but I was flying now and so sure I’d won but then hit a tidal wave of water, pants where they don’t belong but at least my top never moved! Teenagers were so proud of me.

We ventured into the wave pool, this was fun until a gentleman dived in at the wave end and was swimming frantically towards us, his little boy, who was little had fallen from his floaty tyre, he was under the water and struggling, we didn’t realise but when we did teenage son held him up a short while until his dad got him. Not sure the lifeguard was aware of any difficulty but all ended well.

The minibus back wasn’t quite as bad as last time, they cram em in but at least we had a seat this time.

All back at the hotel, an apple strudle and bottle of local beer short rest and sleep which didn’t happen and we went out for our penultimate tea in bulgaria.

We went to euphoria tonight, food was lovely but service quite slow. We won’t be back there tomorrow night! However teenagers were mortified when I asked the waiter if it was still happy hour, reply yes, could I have sex on the beach please, reply yes! Oh dear, and I got 2 cos its buy one get one free!

Back from tea and packing for the morning. Next door are arguing! Now all i can hear is a child’s voice shouting ‘mum’ ‘dad’ about 8 or 9 but not sure dad dad dad! What a bloody row! So we have telly on loud and teenage music too! How bloody inconsiderate! Rude bloody rude! Its 12.30am!

Now we can’t sleep!

Adults only next year for sure!
