Showing Off

A handful of hummingbirds have been enjoying the nectar in the feeder outside my kitchen door, so I thought I would try to capture one.  It started out a bit shaky because they wouldn't come to the feeder when I was on the patio.  I was surprised because other times I have sat at the table while they buzzed back and forth in front of me.  Of course when I have my camera they decide to be shy.  I waited them out and eventually they couldn't resist that handy food source.  This juvenile male was in front of the gray brick wall.  He looks like he's hugging the leaf.  I think he was most interested in showing off that bright red feather.
