Tonight's League Cup match at Palmerston Park (Dumfries) ended in a 0-1 defeat by Dundee United over home team Queen of the South. Many have questioned how Queens can afford to remain as a full-time side despite being in the third tier of Scottish football. The answer of course is that I keep their heads above water by the number of pies I consume.
