Sauna evening

In the evening I visited for the first time to the chimneyless smoke sauna by the lake Veittijärvi. Lovely evening, some +11c and the water was some +15c I guess.

The scent of smoke and soft heat of sauna was almost meditative. And as I got to the sauna by the end of the evening, there was lovely peace. For a minute I was alone there, but then some man game with his birch whisk. All the other bathers were already outside barbaqueing sausages and eating and trying to catch grayfish from the bay (using bare hands and a piece of sausage)... idyllic, eh? :)

Today has been quite an extraordinary day. We slept late into noon almost, me and my son. Then a brunch and a long and thoroughful cleaning of the home. After I had made a chinese style meal for us, Chicken, veges and noodles, he packed his things, took my car and left to a cottage of our friends with his buddies.

As my husband was working in Lappeenranta and as my daughter still is studyind Lapland forests somewhere in Värriö -region, I had evening of my own. 

I do have to visit the Veittijärvi lake again.
