Late Night Steam

End of Summer Special.   In 2015 as part of the Talyllyn 150 celebrations we ran a 24 hour service - All Night Steam - which coincided with a full moon.  Magic!  Tonight a crescent moon, low in the western sky.  Not the same but still magic.  

Jamie starts volunteering tomorrow morning so we opted for the sunset special, steaming up the line in the last of the light and returning in the dark.  Here at almost 9pm the train following ours arrives at Abergynolwyn just before we set off back on our return trip.  Under the station awning the barbecue is hot and inside the bar is open.  Party time!

Strange to be just the two of us here.  Missing the rest of the family.
