The Saga of Barbara
Barbara lives in a far off land, a friend for over 50 years.
She visits her UK family once a year and last year her husband Barry was the subject of a Blip.

On that occasion, we went put out for lunch to a Japanese restaurant and Barbara reacted violently to something she ate.

I rushed her to hospital, blue lights flashing, where she spent the next 24 hours. She then went back to London, and we have not seen her until today!


For lunch today, we ate Cassoulet au Confit de Canard, followed by a cheese mascarpone lemon dessert but before eating, we read the ingredients v  e  r  y    c  a  r  e  f  u  l  l  y.


Then sent her on her way with no adverse reactions.
