Vic 32 on it's way to the point
I knew the old puffer was due for a visit and had looked at the list of cruises and worked out that it would make an appearance on the Firth today. I had checked on Marine Traffic when we were in Inverness and saw that it was on the move. We drove across the bridge to North Kessock and there it was puffing away with black smoke billowing from the chimney. A fine sight especially with the heavy clouds above it. We watched it sail under the bridge and then went home, we both had a bad headache which we think was because of the weather. Several heavy rain showers this afternoon after a sunny morning.
We needed to be Inverness by 9.21am, the time of my appointment at the hospital for a mammogram. I was a little bit nervous, not really knowing where to go, what to do or expect but it was fine and will be much easier the next time.As soon as you hit 50 routine tests are carried out including Bowel screening too.The results should be through in the next two weeks and hopefully all will be ok and I wo nt need to go back for another three years.
