Leaves on the Line

Now Autumn is here no doubt main line passengers will soon be hearing the dreaded words 'delays due to leaves on the line.'
Fortunately it is not a problem that has affected the Steam Railway. We have had the odd tree fall across the line but steam engines can pass over a few wet leaves without shuddering to a halt.

A day of high winds and heavy showers, but the Island has thankfully managed to avoid the flooding which has affected so many parts of the mainland.
