Double Rainbow,Bembridge

This morning started with torrential rain and gales which cleared to sunshine and showers during the afternoon. Having been stuck indoors for a day and a half it was a relief to get out for a walk around Bembridge with the camera.

The fast moving shower clouds made for some nice seascapes one of which would have been todays blipfoto. However just before leaving for home a a big shower passed overhead and several rainbows formed including this double over the Lifeboat Station.

The rain has now moved North and looks as though there could be some serious flooding in some areas. Here's hoping it will not be as bad as some forecasts have predicted.
