Park Avenue, Arches National Park

Another day of jaw-dropping scenery as we visited Canyonlands and Arches national parks. The scale of the place has to be seen to be believed: I had intended to put up a 'canyon' vista, but I want more time to review and edit before I do that.  Instead, you have this striking tree which is vying with the sandstone monuments in the 'Park Avenue' section of Arches N.P.  We return to the park tomorrow morning before heading to Monument valley.

The day started at Mesa Arch, which glows underneath as the sun hits it. Technophobe and Loosecanon have already blipped the arch, so my extras show a different perspective of the arch itself and it's place in the landscape. (It's the tiny arch on the right hand side...)
