Birthday gift
During the week between the 18th to the 23rd August each day has always been memorable for my father with various family celebrations.   Now the 17th has also been added with the loss of his wife, our mother, although we can now celebrate her release from suffering.  Unfortunately he was slow to realise that yesterday was his 95th birthday and a few days ago asked how I could be so old on my birthday as he must remember me as a child.
