Absolute beginner

"They" say that learning a new language or a musical instrument is one of the best things that retired people can do to keep their brains in tip top condition.
And today I got my beautiful guitar out of its case, and tuned it up!
Yes, many years ago, I did learn to play, but all that seems to have been forgotten now!
But I have a new book, entitled "Classical Guitar for Absolute Beginners", and it is really rather good, with a CD to play to make sure you get the exercises right!
And I calculate that by Thursday I will be able to play a tune!
