Such beauty, such sadness!

I stopped here today on my way home from town as it is such a beautiful spot (I have blipped from this area before) Of course I had my camera and seeing it was such a gorgeous day, I thought I'd take a pic or two - I had another idea for today's blip......but a car pulled up and a mother, father and three lovely young girls got out and stood watching this scene in silence and I sensed such sadness. They then proceeded to put bunches of fresh flowers on a newly erected cross nearby where there had been a fatal accident a couple of months ago. I got chatting to them and it was the eldest son who had been killed. My place of beauty will now always have the memory of that dear family.
