A Bit of East Lothian
The approach to Edinburgh airport took us over the Firth of Forth and I was able to grab this blip before being accosted by the nice cabin lady who threatened to throw my camera out of the window if I didn't stop endangering the flight by taking fotties.
Anyhow, this is the almighty and beautiful East Lothian coast, made famous by me being brought up here, and the stalwart Cockenzie Powerful Station.
Bottom to top are the Royal Musselburgh golf course; Prestonpans (where Bonny Prince Charlie's boys gave the government troops a kicking in 1745, and the tradition is carried on to this day each Saturday evening, sorry cheap joke); the aforesaid power station; Cockenzie; Port Seton (my dad still lives there), and then the magnificent coast by Longniddry, with Aberlady Bay in the distance just after Luffness golf course.
Home. BIG HOME.
