Apparently it is a local delicacy in that part of West Africa. Also available in Woking at the greatest shop shop in the world, Atif's. Love that place. It is vegan heaven when you are after everything from spices to pickled turnips. We dropped in on the way home to buy "a couple of things" and came out laden with store cupboard items. Although not the Shito. It isn't vegan.

Very funny day at work. I thought one of my colleagues was going to fall off her chair she was laughing so much when we heard the story of Miss H getting hit by a beach ball and finding a fiver in a state of concussion at last weekend's V Fest. Oh and the best one liners from the Edinburgh festival had us all rolling in the aisles as well. My favourite one is "I wasn't close to my dad when he died. Just as well as he was killed treading on a land mine". Dark humour. 

The humorous tone continued into the evening when we had a packed movie night with Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Very funny. I love movie nights like that. Take-away food and some shared laughter. Recurring theme in the movie about what makes for a good family. Well, if you'll pardon another pun, it ain't rocket science ...
