Meadowsweet

Found my meadowsweet on the road over the hills south of Edinburgh today, along with this Red Admiral, which was looking a bit the worse for wear.
I now have 2 batches of meadowsweet cordial brewing, one with orange juice the other with lemon. I thought I'd try the orange as an experiment they'll finish off tomorrow so here's hoping the taste is ok. (You shouldn't have too much meadowsweet if you are asthmatic or if you take warfarin as it has salicylic acid in it, from which aspirin is derived.)
I also finished off the wee batch of Rowan jelly which I started yesterday. So now we just need some lamb to go with it.
