Diversionary tactics
Ruby was feeling a bit down after the death of her Nan. And after a day spent writing about golf I felt the need for some fresh air. So, off we both went to find the Goblin Ha'.
A visit to a remote, twelfth century, castle overgrown by trees and with a famous reputation for being haunted is sure to cheer us up I thought. And so it proved. With added comedy value from the polish couple I stumbled over smoking joints around a fire. I even gave them a lift back to Gifford later.
Home in time to dish up the roasted butternut squash soup I'd made earlier.
