Mooching in Manchester

Hub and Emily slept well, but as usual, when anyone stays, I seem unable to sleep well.....still awake at 3 am :-/ must have got off after that, and luckily Emily didnt come into our room until 8.30 so I'll survive!

We've been into Manchester today, via Media City, so we could take the tram into the centre.
First time for me and Emily.

We said Emily could choose what she wants for her birthday, but its not until Sunday, so now she has to wait a few days ;-) She chose some clothes, a new backpack for school, a journal, with pen and pencil, some new soft headphones for her ipad and some Shopkins with a display case. Of course, I will wrap them all up despite her knowing what they are :-))) She chose where she wanted to go for lunch.....needless to say we ended up in Macdonalds, but that is ok once in a while.

Once we had finished shopping we jumped back on the tram to Media City and had a nice wander round outside and in the Outlet.

Todays blip is from Media City, I loved the way this florist was advertising, with the flowers in this little boat!!! Ive given it a little treatment and have added a couple of extras too, one of a chap playing his "instrument" in Picadilly Gardens and another of Emily doing another balancing act outside the Lowry Theatre.

We time dit well and missed the traffic, got in around 4.45 and just chilling before deciding what to have for dinner this evening..... something light me thinks!!
