Fishy on a dishy

Today has been a complete wash out.........poured down all day!!

stayed up watching the closing ceremony last night so didn't surface until 9 this morning!

Once we were up and about, our neighbour popped round to ask if there was enough room in our garage for his car....as he had a cracked windscreen, happened whilst they were on holidays. It could only be fixed today if he had a dry place for them to work......his single garage is too full of stuff ;-)

It did mean we had to do a quick reshuffle of some stuff and a sweep up, but all was well, windscreen fixed in no time. We popped to the shop in the rain, waterproofs and brolly required.....when we got,back we had a light lunch. Brown seeded wrap with tomatoes, ham and grilled cheese.

I then toddled off upstairs to do some much needed filing and deleting of photos on the laptop. I wrapped up presents for two of our granddaughters looming birthdays.

Then it was into the kitchen, made a large batch of special fried rice...some for dinner, plus plenty for freezing.

As today is Monday and there has been no chance of outdoor photography....I thought I'dtake part in the mono challenge, today's twist being Smell. So here you have Sea Bass fillets which were definitely not smelly before they were cooked.
Once they were cooked they smelled lovely and tasted even better ;-)

Not sure what we are going to watch tonight, no Olympics :-(
