From Bellingham with Love

My coveted poster which I first saw in LocalFoodLover's journal, arrived yesterday in its very own size crafted tube, thanks to Philipo.
It survived the long journey across mountains, plains and oceans to arrive at my door in the hands of George my smiley postman.

I have a big thank you to LocalFoodLover who translated my comment on her blip into a gift. I never fail to wonder at the kindness of  people so far away whose only link at the moment is a virtual one borne on magnetic waves across the world.
If things go to plan, I would hope to meet her in real time and place next year when we travel to The New World.

When it's framed and up on the wall, hopefully there will be another blip.

The dire weather, forecast for the central belt of Scotland, has fortunately not materialised in this corner of the Capital at least, although it seems to be bad nearby.
The wind is certainly strong enough at times to stop me in my tracks, but the rain is light and variable.
There has been considerable leaf fall during the night and with the trees donning their yellow and gold livery, autumn is surely here.
