Hit the hole

Why oh why oh why.....Why do I get on sewing projects? I have so hard to draw a needle. The needle holes are insanely small. And smaller they will be for each year. It's so frustrating to lick the thread, try to hit the needle hole, fail, lick, again ... etc.
