Annual Show

After a morning of chores, we drove down to a local village to attend the its 'Annual Show' - run by the allotment and horticultural society.  Outside were traditional fete stalls such as a coconut shy and splat the rat (!), inside were the teas, cakes and displays of home grown vegetables and flowers.  We couldn't believe the length of the runner beans (see Extras) and there were some unusual categories of competition which also caught my eye, like this one to create a floral arrangement using a seashell.  I hope you have all had a lovely Sunday (O:
