Arlington Court....

A National Trust property once the home of the Chichester family; wealthy Victorian landowners who loved travel. Sir Francis Chichester being a relative and who obviously shared the same passion.

I think "everything must be grand" was a motto as this magnificent staircase shows! Wow! Several ladies had movie taken as they walked down...it certainly had that effect!

And then we headed home...ans wonderfully, even leaving at almost 5pm, the roads were so clear and the sunset was so beautiful....

A quieter time now after a very full start to the holiday...it's been GOOD! Thank you D for doing all the driving on those windy and steep Devonshire roads!
